Off Campus Vendor Program
The WatCard Off-Campus Vendor program is intended to create partnerships with vendors in the community to enhance the services available to uWaterloo students. In doing so, students have the ability to use funds on their WatCard to purchase goods and services in local businesses. Additionally, the program allows for University of Waterloo faculty and staff, who also have a WatCard, to visit partnering establishments in the program.
The WatCard is the University of Waterloo’s comprehensive one card program, used for identification and to access many facilities and services both on and off campus. Students use it every day to purchase food, printing and books, to access the campus athletic facilities, libraries, and residences. Staff and faculty are encouraged to pick up a WatCard so they can also enjoy access to the services available around campus.
There are two types of funds on a WatCard - meal plan funds and flex dollars. Flex dollars can be used anywhere that the WatCard is accepted including all Retail Services and Food Services outlets, many on campus service providers and businesses that are part of the Off Campus Vendor Program.
